Screen Divas is one man's Labor of Love. I have collected thousands of images for the gallery sections, an ongoing effort. The pages take time to build, so many of the actresses on this sight are only represented by a single page and image. This is my hobby, though I would love to see a few visitors occasionally click through and buy something from one of the affiliates. The items are hand searched and selected rather than displayed by engines provided by the corporate affiliates. It is my mission that the site present a sort of custom environment that is rare among celebrity sites of similar scope. I have personally written all biographies and other copy, and created all artwork. I make an effort to collect images from multiple sources, you are likely to find image collections here that cannot be found on any other single website. They are, to whatever extent possible, carefully selected for size and quality. In some cases it has been very difficult to find any images at all of a particular actress, in which case I may have spent hours scouring the web for what little I was able to locate. If any of you notice a gallery where images are few, or of sub-standard quality, I would appreciate any offer of images or URL's where I can find more. The most vacant area is for actresses of the 70's. They seem less photographed than any other period in history. My theory is because this was the birth of television poster idols like Farrah Fawcett and Suzanne Sommers, who were in too few theatrical releases to qualify for this site. How does a Diva qualify for Screen Divas? To meet one or more of the following criteria, the balance of which is determined by Yours Truly on a case-by-case basis- not necessarily in this order:
